How to mix music

The Fortress

Neve V1 console, racks of old analogue gear including Universal Audio, Avalon, Massenburg, DBX, AMEK, Drawmer, Thermionic Culture, Bel, Eventide, Lexicon and Neve. An EMT plate reverb to add some classic warmth. Monitoring: Quested HQ 410s active with 21” LF Drivers, 2 x Genelec 1031A, and of course, Yamaha NS10s. Records with big budgets are still made in rooms like this, so mixing students do a whole day in this room.

What is analogue synthesis
